You may call me crazy, but I would say, without a doubt, that my favorite part of Versailles was not the opulent, gold-inlaid salons, nor the magnificent gardens and scenic fountains. The place that had stolen part of my heart was the orchard and the memory of us under a peach tree, whose shade was a caress on my soul.
